The countdown is almost over—the 2025–2026 school year is just around the corner!

Our teachers, office crew, and support staff have been busy getting classrooms ready, organizing materials, and planning ways to make this year one of the best yet.
We’d love for you to join us tomorrow, Tuesday, August 12th for our Annual Welcome Back & Meet the Teacher celebration!
TK families - 3:30 - 6:30
Kinder - 6th - 4:40 - 6:30

Here’s what’s in store once you’ve completed your child’s registration and emergency information update at go.musd.org:

• Find out your child’s teacher
• Join the Burnett PTA - We need you!!!!!
• Pick up some Burnett spirit wear
• Snap a picture with Rocky the Bulldog (5–6:30 PM)
• Visit your child’s classroom and meet their teacher (drop in anytime between 5:30–6:30 PM)

Check-in Info:
Only the front gate will be open for entry, and our staff will greet you there.
To keep the line moving, bring a printed copy of your completed emergency form. If you can’t print it, we’ll have you on our list. Need to fill it out? Staff can help on-site—just plan for a little extra time.
We’re so excited to see everyone tomorrow and to kick off a new school year full of learning, friendship, and community spirit!
