HOMEWORK POLICY

Homework is given Monday through Thursday.  Spelling and math  will be given daily and they are all due the following day.  Your child needs to read 20-30 minutes daily.

How to check i-ready homework. Ask your child to log into i-ready. Then click on MATH. Click on My Progress. Click on Details. Then click on the circle with the white triangle to see when your child completed lessons.

The steps for checking ixl language arts and math.

1 Have your child log into ixl
   2.Click on ANALYTICS
   3. Scroll down the page to see the dates and the amount of time your child spent on ixl each day.
You can also check their Progress and Trouble Spots by clicking on ANALYTICS and then, either the   Progress button or the Trouble Spots button.

Please keep the homework assignment sheet nearby (in their homework folder) so that your child knows what is expected daily.  On Friday, your child needs to bring back Thursday night’s homework along with their  Weekly Progress Report and the homework assignment sheet initialed by you.  This tells me that you have reviewed the assignments for the week.

Use mathplayground.com or sumdog.com to practice math facts if you want your child to do more than what is required for homework.
